Shipping policy

Residential or Curbside Delivery
Residential delivery is defined as curbside delivery to your home (it does not include inside delivery or any additional accessories). If you are not willing or able to accept curbside delivery by yourself, you will have to make arrangements to have someone there to help. In some cases, where the shipment is too heavy for the driver to place on the ground all at once, you may be required to assist the driver to get your cabinet order removed from the delivery truck. It is very important to have someone there that is physically capable of helping if need be.

LTL Shipping Policy
• There is a 2-5 business day standard transit time with LTL carriers. Please account for at
least one extra day for residential deliveries and deliveries requiring a scheduled
delivery appointment.
• Orders exceeding standard LTL sizes are subject to additional fees for Full Truckload shipping.
• You will receive a tracking number by email the day after the order has shipped.
• All destinations must be tractor/trailer accessible, or Limited Access fees will be applied
($100).
• For residential deliveries and deliveries requiring appointments, the freight company will
contact you 24 hours in advance to schedule the delivery (usually a 3-4 hour window).
• Shipping charges cover ONE delivery attempt. The customer is responsible for
any additional shipping and handling charges for delivery failure due to customer
circumstances.

LTL Delivery Policy
• The driver is only responsible for placing the pallet on the ground for deliveries.
• Address classifications are based on city zoning, therefore it is possible to have a
commercial property in a residential area. In this case the delivery would be considered
residential, and subject to the residential delivery fees and conditions.
• A responsible party must be present to inspect, inventory, and sign off on delivery.
• You MUST notate if the number of pallets delivered does not match the number
listed on the driver’s BOL (Bill of Lading) copy.
• Careful inspection of packaging conditions is vital to file freight claims. Any visible
damages must be noted on the paperwork when signing for the delivery, as well
as documented with photos. Even if you are not sure if the contents inside contain
damages due to the exterior’s condition, you MUST indicate on the BOL to be able
to claim concealed damages in the future.
• Do NOT reject damaged items. The delivery should be accepted, with
documentation of the damage, and a claim should be filed with Depth Cabinetry.

Delivery Times
Lead times and shipping times vary based upon what type of product it is and your location. Ready-to-assemble orders typically ship within 3-4 business days. Custom and/or assembled orders typically ship within 7-12 days. On occasion, an item may be out of stock. In this case, you will be notified with the updated lead time. Once the product is picked up by the shipping company, shipping times range anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on your location compared to where it's being shipped from. Please contact us for specific shipping details for your specific order.

Shipping Address
Please make sure that the delivery address is correct for your order. Depth Cabinetry will NOT be responsible for ANY address errors made by the purchaser when checking out. In the event, you realize you made an error with the shipping address please contact us immediately with the correct address. If we can correct the mistake before your shipment leaves our facility you will not incur any additional charges or delays.

Storage Fees
Storage fees will be applied to any order that is held for more than 7 business days at a rate of $75.00 per day. Any special requests for holding an order must be made prior to purchase.

Free Shipping
Currently we are providing free shipping for orders over $2500.

With the volume of cabinets that we are shipping, we continue to negotiate for the best possible shipping rates. Depending on the size of your order, we will utilize the best mode of transportation (Small Parcel or Less-Than-Truckload) to ensure that your shipping costs are kept to a minimum. Due to the weight and size of some of the boxes of the ready-to-assemble cabinets and ready to assemble vanities, shipping them UPS or FedEx is not an option. The freight rates are automatically generated based on the weight of the shipment, destination zip code, and the best carrier for that region. Because of the constant changes in fuel prices and shipping costs, quotes are subject to modification at our discretion. A website-generated shipping price is not guaranteed and we reserve the right to change shipping costs if applicable.
